How to Have a Better 9/11
Sep 10, 2022Remember September 11th
Is Grandparents Day-
Now that I am a grandparent, I’m reminded of my grandparents, who generously shared their wit, wisdom, pleasure, and love.
From my Grandfather, I learned one way a man shows how much he loves his woman- I heard words of praise about her every day!
To this day, I don't know anyone else who does that to the degree he did. Sometimes all she had to do was walk into the room. His face would light up; he would look at her with admiration and say, "There she is!"
Three small words loaded with love.
On this Grandparents Day, September 11, may you find and in some way express your gratitude for four (or more!) of the people who made you who you are today.
INSPIRATION: You could celebrate by writing a “Thank You Letter” to your Grandparents. Fill it with gratitude for their influence in your life or share a simple story of the life you live today. Whether your beloved ancestors have crossed over, or you still have them here on earth, your gratitude will bring joy and healing to your entire family tree.
Writing helps and heals.
